The Philosophy

Willpower alone does not work because it’s a disease. Millions of Americans suffer from an eating disorders, alcohol use disorders, substance use disorders, and other addictive disorders. Their lives are controlled by food, drugs, sex, and alcohol.

The key to recovery is to understand the cause of the self-destructive behavior and to acquire the tools to facilitate the necessary changes. This is the core of WD Recovery and Wellness Centers philosophy.

IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT - YOU’RE NOT ALONE - WE CAN HELP

We believe that the eating disorder, alcohol, substance use, and self-harm, has acted as a survival mechanism to help the individual cope with their life. For this reason, we not only address the mistaken beliefs but also teach each individual new coping techniques to handle life’s situations.
